Derby Wine Estates – Meaty Masculine Rose

Published January 23, 2021

If you think this looks like a light girlie wine, don’t judge by its pink color. The Derby Wine Estates rose is a big meaty masculine wine with the strength and layers to match any steak and potato meal.

Slight aroma of watermelon next to a bowl of strawberries leads to a wide crisp mouthfeel of cherry, berry and plum. A bounty of layers and flavors emerge on the long sturdy finish, driving you back to the glass for another sip. Well done!

What’s also remarkable is their lovely outdoor patio where they smoke their own meats that pair really well with their wines.
